Mr. Ziyad bin Saad Al-Muqrin, after a long career in legal practice and consultancy, was appointed by the Board of Directors of the Jockey Club as the club’s Chief Executive Officer in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
He previously served as Secretary General of the Technical Committee at the Jockey Club.
He has overseen many major events within the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, including the Saudi Cup, represented the Jockey Club at several major international forums, and supervised race seasons in Riyadh and Taif. He also contributed to improving the classification/rating of Saudi horse races.
He also supervised the hosting of conferences and events related to thoroughbred racing in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, including the Asian Racing Conference.
He is considered as one of the leading figures in developing the equestrian and horse racing sector in Saudi Arabia.
