
Kate has been employed at Godolphin’s US base since 2006 where she has assumed various roles in Godolphin’s Darley Stallions department and on Jonabell Farm. Alongside her portfolio of stallion clients, Kate also manages operations on Jonabell, and she is a member of Godolphin USA’s Senior Management Team.
Kate grew up in the thoroughbred breeding business on her parents’ McMahon of Saratoga Thoroughbreds in Saratoga Springs, New York. She is a graduate of Cornell University (2001) and Godolphin Flying Start (2006) and completed a Certificate in Business Management from Cornell in 2022. She lives in Kentucky on Hunter Valley Farm, a thoroughbred nursery owned in partnership by her husband, Fergus Galvin.
Kate is a current board member at The Gluck Equine Research Center and has past board experience at the Thoroughbred Club of America (2006-2008) and the Thoroughbred Women’s Network (2017-2019).
