Jack holds degrees in advanced mathematics, physics and a PhD in theoretical physics from the University of Wollongong in Australia. Jack's first position outside academia was at Racing Victoria where he spent three years as a Racing and Analytics specialist in the Betting and Intelligence Unit and has now been with The Hong Kong Jockey Club as a Betting and Form Analyst for over one year. The primary focus of Jack's career in racing integrity has been to build and deploy statistical models to analyse both betting and horse performance data in order to inform Stewards and Investigators of potential integrity risks.
